The Secretary-General: The program includes the governorates of Iraq, and the staff of the Foundation has worked for days to complete all the necessary measures for the success of the campaign.

Al-Anwar Al-Najafiyia Foundation for Culture & Development launched its annual program for the distribution of the Ramadan food baskets to the families of orphans and needy people in Basra governorate and the number of the distributed food baskets is 1000 baskets as a first phase.
The Secretary-General of Al-Anwar Al-Najafiyia Foundation, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy (may Allah support him), stated that the Foundation has prepared a wide plan to distribute thousands of food baskets, and to distribute meals to prepare Iftars table for orphans and their families and needy as people as well.
His Eminence pointed out that the program will include various governorates of Iraq and the staff of the Foundation has worked for days to arrange all the necessary preparations for the success of the program.
The Secretary-General added that the first phase of distribution of this year has taken off in Basra Governorate to support the families of orphans and needy people. Moreover, there are other phases of distribution in Basra and other governorates of Iraq.
The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer Al-Najafy (May Allah prolong his life) in Basra, Sheikh Ali Al-Mutouri stated that as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, the staff of Foundation had begun distributing food baskets to the families of orphans and needy people in Basra Governorate and the number of the distributed food baskets is 1000 baskets as a first phase.
Sheikh Al-Mutouri explained that the aim of this campaign is to help the needy and orphans families and secure some of the necessities for their decent life.
He added that the basket contains the following: (rice, sugar, oil, milk, tea, lentils, tomato paste, and legumes) and other foodstuffs that are used during the blessed month of Ramadan.
