Al-Anwar Al-Najafiyia Foundation for Culture & Development launched its annual program for the distribution of the Ramadan food baskets to the families of orphans and needy people in Basra governorate and the number of the distributed food baskets is 1000 baskets as a first phase.
The Secretary-General of Al-Anwar Al-Najafiyia Foundation, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy (may Allah support him), stated that the Foundation has prepared a wide plan to distribute thousands of food baskets, and to distribute meals to prepare Iftars table for orphans and their families and needy as people as well.
His Eminence pointed out that the program will include various governorates of Iraq and the staff of the Foundation has worked for days to arrange all the necessary preparations for the success of the program.
The Secretary-General added that the first phase of distribution of this year has taken off in Basra Governorate to support the families of orphans and needy people. Moreover, there are other phases of distribution in Basra and other governorates of Iraq.
The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer Al-Najafy (May Allah prolong his life) in Basra, Sheikh Ali Al-Mutouri stated that as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, the staff of Foundation had begun distributing food baskets to the families of orphans and needy people in Basra Governorate and the number of the distributed food baskets is 1000 baskets as a first phase.
Sheikh Al-Mutouri explained that the aim of this campaign is to help the needy and orphans families and secure some of the necessities for their decent life.
He added that the basket contains the following: (rice, sugar, oil, milk, tea, lentils, tomato paste, and legumes) and other foodstuffs that are used during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Aytamuna Charity of Al-Anwar Al-Najafia Foundation for Culture and Development distributed monthly stipends to the orphans of Najaf and other governorates in Iraq.
Mr. Qasim Muhi, Director of the Foundation, indicated that the foundation began distributing stipends to the orphans of all governorates of Iraq for this month.
He also stated that the stipends were delivered directly to the families through the prepared card made by the department for each family taking into consideration the proper health measures due to the health situation in the governorates.
He added that the number of orphans is 1757 orphans for this month that is according to the database prepared by the Department.
On the other hand, the families expressed their gratitude for the great work of the foundation.

Aytamuna Charity, Karbala Branch, held a celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Imams of Ahlulbayt (A.S) for the registered orphans and distributed gifts on them at the headquarter of the Foundation.
Ali Hanoon, the head of the branch, stated that staff organized a central celebration for the orphans and their families in Karbala who are registered in the humanitarian campaign of the branch and the celebration included many events and gift distribution.
Al-Hanoon confirmed that Aytamuna Charity is trying to make relief and involve the orphans in the great joys that the governorate is witnessing.
