Aytamuna Charity of Al-Anwar Al-Najafiyia Foundation for Culture & Development started off distributing monthly stipends to the families of orphans, and the orphans of the Scientific Hawza for the province of Najaf and other provinces.
Haj Qasim Muhi, the director of the Foundation, stated that the number of the sponsorships for this month reached (3606) orphans in all Iraqi governorates and the distribution is being done smoothly through a special card delivered to each family to be identified according to the database of Aytamuna Charity and then received their payments.
He added that the number of orphans reached 1940 for this month in Najaf Governorate noting that health measures and safety were taken into consideration throughout the distribution so as to protect the families from the danger of the Corona Virus.
On the other hand, the families of orphans express their gratitude and thanks for the service and care provided by the Foundation and its staff.
Al-Anwar Al-Najafiyia Foundation continues throughout the country to support orphans and their families in accordance with the directions of the Secretary-General of the Foundation which is to provide the best humanitarian services to the orphans and their families.
The head of the Foundation Branch in Baghdad explained that the cadres of the Foundation distributed the monthly salaries of orphans for the month of July in the capital according to the prepared lists and the number of orphans reached (74) orphans at a rate of $30 for each orphan.
He indicated that the branch of Aytamuna Charity Baghdad has distributed (60) food baskets during the month of June to the orphans so as to aid them in these hard conditions in Iraq. However, the Foundation initiated several programs to care for orphans, inspect their living conditions, and provide food and in-kind assistance.
Al-Anwar Al-Najafia Foundation for Culture and Development, in cooperation with the Hussainiya Shrine / Najaf Branch / Family Guidance Center at the Hussainiya Shrine in Najaf, has held guiding lectures for widows and orphans’ families on ways of education, facing family problems, and overcoming difficulties in life.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation, Qassem Mohi, stated to the Foundation that Aytamuna Charity in cooperation with Family Guidance Center at the Hussainiya Shrine, Najaf Branch, took the initiative to hold lectures and lessons for widows from orphan families. These lessons include advice and guidance in the field of family education and how to deal with the child in various social conditions and guiding lectures in many fields and specializations, these lectures last for five days.
Psychological Counselor Ghufran Rahim at the Guidance Center explained that the center organized important lectures for all families, especially for orphan families, as it focuses on childhood problems.
Ghufran indicated that the staff provided psychological and educational consultations, answered the participants' inquiries, and developed solutions to psychological and educational problems and emotions. Tawhid Abdul-Hussein, a researcher and psychological consultant, stressed the importance of this initiative.
On the other hand, the families of orphans expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the staff of the foundation in carrying out these initiatives.
