For decades, the Marjaiyyat has remained a steadfast pillar of support for Shia Muslim communities around the world, working tirelessly to uplift and empower them. Even under the shadow of oppressive regimes, the Maraje courageously found discreet ways to assist and guide their followers. With the fall of tyranny, a new era began—one that allowed the Marjaiyyat to establish a more visible and impactful presence.

In August 2003, under the esteemed leadership of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), the Al Anwar Al Najafyia Foundation was founded. This foundation emerged with a clear and noble vision: to transparently and professionally enrich the lives of Shia Muslims, fostering a stronger, more resilient community deeply rooted in the values of the Ahlulbayt (a.s.). Since its inception, and with the unwavering support of countless donors and partners, we have been able to extend relief, provide aid, and bring positive change to the lives of many.
